Pakistan Warns of Imminent Indian Attack After Pahalgam Incident | India Boosts Defence with Rafale Jets and Technology Transfer

In a fresh escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that a military incursion by India may be imminent, following the tragic attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Addressing local media, Asif expressed serious concerns, stating that Islamabad is closely monitoring the situation and preparing for “any kind of aggression” from its eastern neighbor
“We cannot rule out any misadventure by India. Our forces are on high alert,” Khawaja Asif told reporters, hinting that Islamabad perceives the situation as extremely volatile.
At the same time, India is strengthening its military capabilities. In a major development, the country is not just receiving more Rafale fighter jets from France but is also finalizing crucial talks on transfer of technology (ToT) agreements. This means India won’t just operate Rafales bought from abroad — it could soon manufacture and maintain critical systems domestically, significantly boosting its defense self-reliance.
The Rafale jets, known for their speed, agility, and cutting-edge weapons systems, have already transformed India’s air combat capabilities. With the added potential of technology transfer, India’s defense industry could take a giant leap, reducing dependence on foreign suppliers in the long term.
